The 2009 FIBO POWER in Essen, Germany exceeds the general expectations as for exhibitors as well as for visitors.

A lot of fun and action were in the spotlight besides direct selling. The stage programme and the different contests convinced athletes, sponsors and visitors. Partly, the alleys of the halls were full of people that there was no chance to get through.

Düsseldorf/Essen. Not until 2009 will Essen be the European Capital of Culture – but the metropolis on the Ruhr has long been the continent’s capital of fitness: for more than 20 years now, some 50,000 visitors 60 from countries 60 have come flocking to the Essen Exhibition Centre every time FIBO opened its gates.

The largest fitness and bodybuilding event in Germany takes place this weekend in Essen, Messegelände.

Bodybuilders from all around Europe should not miss this years event.

Zivile Raudoniene won Figure International 2009

US female athlete Zivile Raudoniene won the Figure International Championships at the Arnold Classic 2009 and received a check about $16,000.

Other prizes were:
• 2nd place: Gina Aliotti (last year winner)
• 3rd place: Amy Fry
• 4th place: Kristal Richardson
• 5th place: Felicia Romero
• 6th place: Monica Brant

US Fitness Athlete Jen Hendershott won the Fitness International competition at the Arnold Sports Festival 2009 and received a $25,000 check.

Other Fitness International winners were:
• 2nd place: Julie Palmer
• 3rd place: Tracey Greenwood
• 4th place: Regiane DaSilva
• 5th place: Tina Durkin
• 6th place: Shannon Meteraud
